Knock-Knock! Who’s there ? Censor Board… Censor…Censor Board who?
The one that takes away all that charm you wonder, would do some good to your movies…
The ultimate stardom of Hollywood movies has frozen our attention to the upcoming best imminent movies approaching India. Millions of fans of Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan are desperate to know the latest updates of “Fifty Shades Darker”. The movie has been released on February 7th worldwide, one of the biggest releases so far.. but it’s release in India, still not …oops
It is a sequel to the film “Fifty Shades Of Grey”, nobody broadcasted in India for India’s Central Board of Film Certification, fondly called Censor Board for we all believe that you should be named on the basis of your karma, deemed it racist for us. Pahlaj Nihalani-led board is scared that a long kiss between Daniel Craig and Monica Bellucci in Spectre can destroy our ‘sanskriti’. They think it will divert the minds of our youths and will oppose the traditions of India. Well, the Indian censor board is filled with the same old, tiny minded people. Such kind of movies generally do not find their way in India, not by legal means at least (giggles) at least, Certification Board of India thinks so. They think that just the Indians are living in ‘Satyug’. If the marketing for this one is to be believed, it will take the story forward in ‘Darker’ ways.
Well, we’ve seen the trailers and there is no physical intimacy, again! But wait. There is a shot of bare legs, bare back and a lot of kissing. May be the censor board was fooled by all the masked men and women in the beginning of the trailer.
Anyways, if you’re a fan then you just have to enjoy the trailer as there is no scope of having the movie released in India. And if you’re not a fan then congratulations because you’re just saved from a Razzie-winning performance. Sad, but true. You’ll have to think of another way of celebrating your valentine’s day.
