Another biopic by Shraddha Kapoor!!

Shraddha Kapoor seems to be on a biopic spree. The actor who is busy with Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai in which she is playing Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar will also play India’s foremost badminton player, Saina Nehwal. The actor has confirmed that she is playing Saina in an upcoming biopic, which will be directed by Amol Gupte. He  has reportedly been working on the film for a while now. The director has researched into Saina’s life and has now decided on Shraddha as the cinematic face of Saina. Speaking to ToI, Shraddha said, “Most girls have played badminton at some point in their lives in school. I feel so lucky to be playing Saina, who’s not just been the world’s No. 1 badminton player, but is also a youth icon. I can’t wait to start prepping for my role.”

Speaking to the daily, Saina said it was news to her. “I was aware of the film, yes, but I didn’t know about the casting. It’s great if Shraddha plays me because she is a very talented actress and very hardworking. I am sure she will do justice to the role. The best part is, she is a good friend as well. So it will be easier to teach her some badminton skills. A lot of people did tell me that we do look similar and I think that’s a huge compliment, because Shraddha is very good looking.”

Everybody is looking forward for the work done by her.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, an amazing father to three, says he is planning to quit smoking and drinking and adopt a healthier lifestyle to enable himself spend more time with his children.
Asked if being an old parent he feared not getting enough time to spend with AbRam, his four-year-old son, he says, “Yes, that’s an issue, that thought comes in my head. One way to look at it is to keep yourself healthy.
“The presence of a little child at the age of 50, it is a good thing. It makes me come alive, it makes me see innocence and love in a different way,” he said. The star says he wants to spend the next 20-25 years of his life with his kids and so he has been maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
“Having said that, will I be there to do the same thing that I did with my older kids? Yes, that is a worry. So that keeps you smoking less, drinking less, exercising more. I am planning to give up all (smoking, drinking, etc) and try to be healthier and happier,” he said.
Shah Rukh was 15 years old when his parents passed away and he says he holds that against them. “I don’t want my children to hold that against me that I was not there,” he says.
On a lighter note, he says that he wants to embrace his kids and be around hounding them for a long time. “I want to be there to give them advice completely out of context and irrelevant. I want to find out about their personal lives when they are hating me for doing so. I dont want to be cumbersome and troublesome to my children. So I should work towards it and get healthy,” he says.
“I am working with younger girls just to keep up with my children. I am not doing it out of any mid-life crisis. I am only doing it to make myself feel younger and get in touch with the younger me,” he adds.
So overall its an amazing step taken by king khan for the betterment of his future and his family.. 😀

It’s been so long that we all have been asking for special treatments for girls over boys. Girls have been miss treated and have been taken for granted. Females are always seen weaker then males physically, mentally and in many other things. Females have been deprived of there rights because of this misconceptions. Females have been molested, raped, and have seen many worse scenarios because of the thinking that they are weak.
India is a country where there are 940 females per 1000 males. Ironically the girls family is the one which has to bear the pressure of dowry. Isn’t it funny?? It should be the girl who should ask for dowry if someone had to marry her. I’m not in favor of dowry but this thing strikes my mind whenever i think of the dowry system. Let’s just imagine for a while and think, there comes a time when it’s the girls family asking for dowry. The girl and her family visits the boys house and asks him questions like, do you know how to cook? How qualified are you? Will you work after marriage? The best part will be when the girl’s family asks for the dowry. Thinking about this thing makes me feel like the scenario had changed and girls have the real power. Not only this but imagine when a boy is walking on a street at night and girls standing around teases him and pass various comments like,”Hottness, Beauty , sexy, Blaah… Blaah” such things sounds good for girls but there will be no change in the society. But boys do need to understand the pain and humiliation girls go through. Even if you can imagine yourself in the place where we girls are, there can be a huge difference in the society. If thinking like this makes you feel weird then all you need to realise is its your call to respect girls and treat them well.
Girls don’t want to be treated special but they do deserve to feel what they have earned. Equality is all that matters. Boys have there plus points and girls have there own. It’s like a balance that we need to maintain. Somewhere boys can be good and somewhere girls. Only thing which is required is that you need to do your best be it you are a girl or a boy. It doesn’t mean what work you are doing, you can do anything and everything. Just give your 100% and the results will be in your favor for sure. Your gender will never be a barrier.

Deepika Padukone has raised the importance of spreading awareness about mental health at the launch of her NGO, Live Love Laugh. In January this year, she broke her silence for the first time in an HT exclusive to tell the world that she was struggling with anxiety and depression, at a time when she was establishing her credentials as one of Bollywood’s most sought after actors.
“Over the past few weeks, Deepika was busy shooting for Padmavati, promoting her Hollywood film (Xxx: Return of Xander Cage) across the globe, and has also been making time for her multiple brand endorsements. But still, Deepika made sure that she keeps aside some time every few days to stay updated on the activities of her foundation,” says the source. The source added that the Chennai Express (2013) actor is “actively involved” in the functioning of the foundation, and is also in touch with her team of specialists, doctors and counsellors, who fill her in on the experiences they have had with people who approach the organisation. “The foundation is close to Deepika’s heart, and so, regardless of her busy schedule, she will always make time for it at regular intervals,” the source says. Deepika couldn’t be reached for a comment.
Deepika agrees, “Mental Health has assumed the scale of an epidemic and we truly need to work together to bring psychiatric disorders out of the shadows and into the light. We are seeing several individuals and organisations step forward to support our efforts. There is so much to do and so many more people who need help to cope with their challenges. We look forward to working together in the mission to make Mental Health a national priority!

I don’t why people are so much excited to see the bolly wood star’s baby .Recently kareena and her son  were spotted enjoying a drive on the streets of Mumbai on Thursday night. The mother-son duo was accompanied by karishma kapoor and one other lady (possibly his nanny). They had most probably come out for a family gathering at their mother’s house. Wrapped in a white cloth, the baby was cradled in the woman’s arms with Kareena sitting right next to them in the car. Sadly, we missed this beautiful opportunity of seeing his face as he felt asleep during the journey. But, what ever little that could be seen of him, was enough to be fallen in love with.According to me a baby is a baby whether it is of any person’s baby. But always importance is given to the star’s baby. They consider  baby as something which can’t be ignored.
Explaining Kareena’s reaction on Taimur’s picture going viral, said, “Yes, she was not happy. She was like, “Nazar lag jayegi and all of that”. But agar nazar lagni hoti toh Kareena would be in the hospital by now. I don’t believe in all of that. I didn’t mean to share it. It was my WhatsApp display picture. But it is fine. I don’t plan to hide him. We will have a tough time figuring out how to bring him up. I think Taimur is already a bit of a popular chap. So, I think we will have to teach him to be grounded, as people will watch whatever he does.”Obviously a star baby became famous in the childhood itself .So this people can’t change this opnion.

1. This Khan not only has a spectacular body and excellent acting skills but he is also good with the racket and the ball. Yes, you read that right!   Aamir was one-time state tennis Champion in the state of Maharashtra during his school days. In a interview with the Hindustan Times he also said that Roger Federer is his favorite tennis player.59e5bab4-edb9-4098-9fc8-e40709f398a7.jpg

2. Lagaan was a super-duper hit and till date the older generation knows Aamir by this movie but the hidden fact is that Aamir rejected the script of Lagaan 6 times. Then he found the 7th edit of the film quiet interesting so he himself decided to produce the movie.

3. So for all the bloggers out there, Aamir khan was the first bollywood Actor to start a blog of his own. He was active on his blog in the year 2009 but God knows why he quit updating about his real and reel life in this modern era of blogging.

4. Another fact which a very few people know is that Aamir hails from a family of freedom fighters. His great grand uncle was Maulana Abul Kalam Azad who was also nominated as India’s first Education Minister.

5. Aamir was once invited by the Madame Tassauds in London in the year 2007. But to everyone’s surprise he declined the offer stating that if people are fond of him they would rather watch his films than looking at him in the form of wax statues.

Team Popcrunchers wishes MR. PERFECTIONIST a very Happy Birthday.. Keep on inspiring the young generation.                    😀

Googleplex opened an Indian cafeteria named ‘Baadal’ at their San Francisco office.

The décor of this cafeteria will make Indians miss home with Bollywood posters adoring the wals.

The most interesting thing about this cafeteria is it’s special Menu prepared to welcome Shilpa Shetty which can make you dance. It is very surprising that Shilpa Shetty playlist replaced the food items. The name of dishes are inspired from Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s songs. It was a sweet gesture of Google to welcome Shilpa

The menu included dishes like Kadhai Chole Ke Dil Ka Karaar Lootne, a name clearly inspired by Shilpa’s song Dilwalo Ke Dil Ka Karaar Lootne. Then there is Barasja Ae Baadal Rice, named after Baras Ja Ae Baadal.

After such a great welcome Shilpa tweeted: “Googles cafeteria did a special menu on my songs. How cute is that..such a warm welcome.”

Shilpa Shetty also shared the picture of menu saying that- “Googles cafeteria did a special menu on my songs😬😅how cute is that..such a warm welcome.🙏 #swasthrahomastraho #digital #google #gratitude”

Ram Gopal Verma is known for his controversial statements. Taking a look at his tweets, it exudes the aura of a  man who is not just much opinionated but very judgemental. His habit of making controversial statements is now considered a part oh his personality.  Most recently, though, his tweet ‘wishing’ women on International Women’s Day made headlines. It read  “I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives.”
Sunny Leone who kept quiet all through the while has also reacted to the incident through a video. “I read all news today. I believe change only happens when we have one voice. So, choose your words wisely,” she said in the video. The last update is RGV’s public apology. He has apologised to women everywhere for hurting their sentiments. He wrote, “Was just expressing my feelings but I apologise to all who were offended due to my unintended insensitive tweets in context of women’s day,” and added, “My apology is only to those who genuinely got offended and not to those who ranted for publicity nd threatened to take law into their hands.”
To have opinions, and to express them does come under the Freedom of Speech Act in our country. However, is it okay to trivialise what women go through every day? There are still women who are being harassed on the streets because they are thought of as objects solely made for the purpose of ‘making men happy’. Women are being harassed because men think stalking is romantic. Where did they get this idea? From films helmed by directors like Ram Gopal Varma. There are men who think it is okay to not give women a choice because they expect to get away with everything, just like how Ram Gopal Varma has gotten away with this comments and statements and with his public apology.
